The client
An anonymised building-systems project team assessing a package that combines an international technical concept with Chinese manufacturing and component supply. The route may include market preparation into China, export from China or both within the same commercial programme.

Connected systems create interface risk. Dimensions, connection points, electrical ratings, materials, manuals and installation assumptions must match across suppliers and markets. A component can meet its own specification and still fail as part of the full package.
